Brown Tabby w/White

5 Year Old Spay

Indy is a sweet girl, although she's a bit shy.  She needs a person with a lot of patience and a home with few other animals.

She does well with 5+ year old children, but does not interact properly with a younger child.

Flying Vee - 1/8/2006

Approximately 3 years old

Vee is a real love bug, she'll ru to greet you when you come home.

She's ready to come home with you today!

EMMA - A Home in Maine  1/7/2006

Brown Tabby

3 Year Old Spay

You can call me Emma or you can call me Izzy, but don't call me late for dinner !  I'm a very healthy, 13# girl.

I'm a very gentle, sweet companion for someone who wants a friend that will come and sit with them, although  I'm  shy when directly approached.

Taikun - A home in New York   1/7/2006

Red Tabby w/White Neuter

3 Years Old

Taikun is a sweet boy who loves to retrieve toys.  He likes to be near his person, but he is not a cat to sit in your lap.

He would function best in a home with no more than 1 other cat.

Monday, August 8 -  A new home in Louisville!

Alex - Ohio

Saturday, July 30, 2005

Alex is a Maine Coon mix located in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.  He was abused and abandoned by his owner and was not faring well in the feral colony he joined.

He has been neutered and has to find a home in the next 2 weeks or be released back into the feral colony.

Alex is a sweet, gentle, patient boy.  He is huge and loves to be held and give head butts.  Ohio foster mom is willing to help with transportation out of state.

.These sisters belonged to an elderly lady who had to give them up when she was forced to move.  Both cats were traumatized by their move into a shelter and need someone who will take them both. They need a person who will spend time with them, teaching them to trust again.  Nikki has responded quicker to the volunteer who is working with her, Penny is still very frightened.

Rufus was found in a feral colony in Florida and was rescued by a person working with the colony.  He is currently in foster care and on his way to our facility in Maine.  He needs a permanent home where there would not be any other cats.  He probably would have problems with young children, he needs to be socialized.  He needs someone who is willing to work with him.

Rocky

  • Brown Tabby, Declawed

  • 3-5 years old

  • Neutered

Monday, May 1, 2005     Sophia finds a new home

Sophia, Maine Coon look-alike

Saturday, April 23, 2005

  • 15 years old

  • Spayed

  • Located in Massachusetts

Sophia is a 15-year-old Maine Coon look-alike who needs a new home.  Her owners are moving and do not want her any more.   She is very gentle and purrs loudly when she receives a pat or a kind word.  She would make a sweet companion for an owner who can give her a stable home

Tuesday, April 26, 2005

Misha - Silver Tabby Maine Coon

Misha has settled into her new home, and is getting along well with her new "sister" cat, Raggybags.

Saturday, April 16, 2005     Misha moves to her new home.

Sunday, April 10, 2005

  • 3 years old

  • Spayed

  • Located in Maine

Misha came to her home directly from her breeder, and is a healthy cat.  But about 8 months ago she started to have a problem with her environment and has began urinating outside of her litter box.  With a change to her environment, and with retraining, she could be a wonderful pet as an only cat or for someone with only one additional cat.
