While there are many reasons cats are surrendered to rescue, a behavioral problem need not be one of them. We hope that these behavioral links will be helpful if your cat is having a problem:

UMCCRL does not endorse or recommend products, we have heard that Cat Attract™, a type of cat litter available in pet stores and veterinary clinics, has successfully retrained many cats to use their litter box again. Before you give up on your cat, you might want to give this product a try.
