Adopting a rescue

If you are interested in adopting a rescue cat, please complete and return our application.

Placing a cat into rescue

If you are placing a cat into rescue, please complete and return our rescue form. It is available as a Microsoft® Word document or an Adobe® Acrobat® PDF.*

Completed Word format applications can be e-mailed to UMCCRL. If possible, please also send a photograph of the cat.  JPEG format (file names ending in ".jpg") is preferred as it is readily transferable to a Web page.

If you print out and complete the PDF version of the rescue form, please mail it to UMCCRL, c/o Betsy Piper, 432 Chapel Road, Waldoboro, ME  45272-5802.

When the cat is placed, we ask for a donation from the surrendering owner as well as the new owner to help defray the costs of placement.

Other rescue questions

Please e-mail us at umccrl@tp2.com.
